A Window Into Me:
Who I am as a therapist and who I am as a person are equal. I bring my whole personality into therapy sessions. I can only help you by being Me.
I know what it’s like to compromise every piece of yourself for other people. I used to fight for myself last.
Through my own personal work, my work as a therapist, and continued practice, I know how to advocate for myself first and still show up for others. I’m a fighter…for myself and always for you.
Favorite food - a loaf of French Bread with butter or delicious cheese. Well-balanced? No. Makes me happy? Yes. I love cherries and peaches in the summer also.
Something I know to be True: I can’t be me without embracing my differences.
Beach or Mountains: I love them for different reasons. I love the stillness and enormity of the mountains. I love the peace and tranquility of the water. Both help me find the beauty in the world.
Cat or dog: I have both - I love the independence and quirk of cats. I love that people want them to be a certain way, but they are who they are. I love the undying affection of my dog and his protective nature. I’m always in good hands with him.
Favorite artist: Music reflects someone’s soul. Here are just a few…Van Morrison, James Taylor, Patty Griffin, more.
Why am I a therapist: I don’t want anyone to live their life feeling trapped, voiceless, alone or lost. I know what it’s like to walk through life wanting more.
In private practice I finally get to blend the majority of my skills into one. With an undergraduate degree in business and marketing and my Masters in Counseling Psychology, I’ve found the perfect fit for me.
